I feel like I haven’t done a product review in forever. To be honest, my hair usually stays in braids up under my wigs, so I just pay attention to the shampoos and conditioners that I use. I literally have hundreds of products in my beauty closet and do have a couple of products that I love for my hair especially when it comes to washing and detangling. Let me just say this ” it’s hard to get me away from my favorite shampoo and conditioner” but I decided to give MY DNA a try and I’m glad I did. A couple months back My DNA sent over full-size bottles of the sulfate-free shampoo, detangling conditioner and hair butter. I used these products after taking down three-week old twisted brands. Upon opening, I found the scent to be very nice. Not too perfumey, but light and flowery.
Now on to MY DNA detangling conditioner, I have super thick hair so when it comes to detangling I need the works. This conditioner saturates your hair with intense moisture to hydrate and detangle for improved manageability. It’s infused with Monoi de Tahiti and pure oils to stimulate the scalp and add shine to hair while nourishing and protecting. This conditioner gave great slip for detangling, it added moisture and the fact that I was able to detangle at the same time while in the shower was pretty cool (I normally have to do a out of shower prep when it comes to detangling).
Overall I think MY DNA Experience was pretty amazing, the products are really nice. After using these for the past month I think that the only product that was a miss for me was was the hair butter only because I don’t rock twist outs, but I can say that I love using it on my daughter’s hair. The shampoo and conditioner are now on my must-have list.
